Please read these Terms of Sale carefully before ordering products from our website. These terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, govern your use of the site and your product purchases, whether online or by phone.

Purchase From Us
We deliver to all major towns in Uganda. For international shipments, we work with third-party couriers that vary depending on the destination country. To purchase from us, you must be over 18 years old and of legal age in your jurisdiction It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any age requirements applicable to your location.
How Your Contract with Us Is Formed
Orders are submitted via the Website in the following way:
Once you are ready to buy, click ‘Add to Cart’ for the product that you want. After adding items, click “Checkout” to proceed to our secure checkout and complete your Order.
- All Products displayed on our Website are invitations to treat, not A binding contract is only formed when we confirm and accept your Order.
- You can create an account with us using your email and a password. Please keep your password confidential. If you forget it, we have a secure system in place that allows you to request a reminder for future transactions.
- If you are already registered, enter your login details to access your You will need to provide your billing and delivery addresses. The billing address must be where the order information is sent, however, you can choose a different delivery address. After that, enter your payment details. Payment
The prices indicated on our Website at checkout include all taxes, including taxes, which may be payable in respect of the Product(s) and delivery charges.
All payments must be made at the time of checkout of order. Payment for all Product(s) must be by credit, debit card, MTN / AIRTEL MONEY or the various options provided during checkout. We will not dispatch the Product(s) until we receive payment in full.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but the changes will not affect Orders which we have already confirmed as described above.
For payment by card, all credit and debit cardholders and bank/building society account holders respectively may be subject to authorization and authentication. If the issuer of your payment card or our service provider refuses to, or does not for any reason authorize or validate the payment, we will not be liable in these circumstances for any delay or non-delivery in respect of the Product(s) which you have ordered as a result.
By providing your information to us, you specifically authorize us to transmit or obtain information about you from third parties, including but not limited to your name, address, telephone number, debit or credit card details, and credit reports. This information may be used to authenticate your identity and delivery address for the Product(s), validate your payment card, and obtain authorizations for your payments.
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection and Privacy Act of Uganda and other applicable laws. Your personal information will be processed securely and used solely for the purposes of facilitating your order, improving our services, and complying with legal obligations. We will not disclose your personal information to any unauthorised third parties without your consent, except as required by law. You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
Delivery And Availability
We aim to deliver Product(s) to you, to the delivery address you have requested in your Order within the time set out in our Shipping Times but we cannot give an exact delivery date. If we have not delivered the Product(s) within 30 days of submitting your Order or any other date that we have agreed with you then you may cancel the Contract and we will refund any money paid by you.
Important: During peak periods or promotional events, delivery may take up to 14 days. Thank you for your understanding!
Damaged Or Defective Products
If you are not satisfied with your purchase after receiving your Product(s), you may return them for a full refund as outlined in this section on “Damaged or Defective Products” or in the following section on “Your Right to Cancel.”
- Unless otherwise specified, we do not provide any additional warranties or guarantees on our products beyond those required by law. By law, we warrant that our Products will match their descriptions, be fit for their intended purpose, and be of satisfactory quality.
- Please inspect your Product(s) upon receipt for any defects or damage. For footwear, we recommend trying them on indoors while wearing socks. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you do not fulfill this obligation, we may seek compensation. If you discover a defect or damage, please inform us within 24 hours of receipt by contacting us at customercare@umojafootwear.ug or by calling +256 (0) 200900755. We will guide you through the return process to our Customer Service Centre.
- If the Product(s) are found to be damaged before delivery or defective due to no fault of your own, we will either replace the Product(s) or refund the total amount paid, including any delivery charges. This applies as long as the Product(s) have not been worn or used. If you prefer a replacement, please contact us, and we will arrange this at no additional cost where feasible.
- If the Product(s) are determined to be damaged after delivery, we will reach out to discuss the issue with you. Please note that you are responsible for arranging the collection of any unauthorized returns, such as Products returned as defective but later found not to be so. In such cases, we reserve the right to return the Products to you at your expense. Additionally, we will not be able to refund any delivery charges incurred when ordering or returning the item.
- These Terms of Sale do not exclude our liability to you for personal injury or death resulting from our negligence, fraud, and any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude or to attempt to exclude our liability.
- Subject to the above, we are only liable to you for losses which you suffer as a result of a breach of these Terms of Sale by us. our liability to you for losses resulting from a breach of these Terms of Sale is limited to a maximum of 125% of the purchase price of the Product you bought. This cap includes any losses that are a foreseeable consequence of our breach. Losses are considered foreseeable if they could be contemplated by both you and us at the time your Order was accepted.
- Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect losses that occur as a side effect of the main loss or damage, which are not foreseeable by either party. This includes, but is not limited to: loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits or contracts and loss of anticipated savings. However, this does not prevent claims for loss of or damage to tangible property in accordance with your statutory rights or any claims for direct financial loss that are not excluded by the categories provided in this paragraph.
- Subject to the above, we are not liable for any delay in or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms of Sale due to causes beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to: acts of God, governmental actions, war, fire, flood, explosion or civil unrest, failures in information technology or telecommunications services, third failures (including failure to supply necessary data), and industrial action. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the delay and to mitigate its impact
Important: During a promotion, no returns and exchanges will be accepted.
Your Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer (i.e., you are not purchasing for business purposes), you have the right to cancel the Contract (excluding personalized or non-returnable products) and receive a refund, including any delivery charges incurred when ordering the Product. To cancel, you must inform us in writing at customercare@umojafootwear.ug within five (5) working days, starting the day after your Order is placed.
If you choose to cancel, you are responsible for returning the Product(s) at your own cost and risk. We recommend ensuring that the Product(s) are adequately insured during return shipping. Please take reasonable care of the Product(s), including preserving the original packaging if applicable. For footwear, we advise trying them on indoors with socks.
As outlined in the “Damaged or Defective Product(s)” section, you have a legal obligation to care for the Products while they are in your possession. Failure to comply may result in us seeking compensation.
If you do not return the Product(s) within 5 days of cancellation or upon our request, whichever comes first, we may arrange to collect the Product(s) from you at your expense. Gift recipients may request that a refund be issued to the original purchaser. To do so, please contact our Customer Services department at customercare@umojafootwear.ug or call +256 (0) 200900755.
Where payment for Products was made using a payment card, refunds will be processed by re-crediting the card account from which the payment was originally debited.
All refunds will be issued within 30 working days under the following conditions: if the Products have not been delivered to you within 30 days of your Order, refunds will be issued after we confirm via email that your Order has been canceled, and if the Products have been delivered, refunds will be processed upon our receipt of the returned items.
Important: During promotional periods, refunds, exchanges, or order cancellations will not be accepted.
Other Information
We may not keep a copy of these Terms of Sale and your Order, so we recommend printing them for your future reference.
The Contract and all communications between us will be conducted in English.
These Terms of Sale constitute the entire agreement between us as to your purchase of the Product(s) and shall supersede any prior agreement or representation.
While we take reasonable care to ensure that all details, images, and descriptions of Products are accurate when published on our Website, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the images displayed. Actual Product colors may vary due to our photographic processes.
The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity, and all aspects of these Terms of Sale will be governed by the laws of Uganda.
If any provision of these Terms of Sale is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, that provision will be removed, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
No delay or failure by us to exercise any rights or remedies under these Terms of Sale will be considered a waiver of those rights, nor will any partial exercise of such rights prevent further exercise of them.
